Remember:
Pharmacists should become SMART volunteers especially if they are certified
immunizers.
- they will receive a SMART identification card that enables them to get past
most barriers during events
- they receive first care for them and their families during events
-they will receive training free for CPR and bloodborne pathogen barriers required yearly
for immunizers.
-they will be an integral part of first care in case of a pandemic event
-they can do this on a strictly volunteer basis requiring very little on their
part
- they will receive on the spot training in case they are needed during an event
-or if they want they can become active members if they want to do
more training courses available to them
